Lee Seunghwan (이승환) is the former member of kpop group 1THE9 and a current contestant on Mnet survival show BoysPlanet.
Born May 20th 2000 in Seoul, South Korea. He is a former member of the project group 1THE9 and trainee group PlayM BOYS. He is best known for being a contestant on the reality survival shows Under Nineteen, LOUD and Boys Planet.
Career
2018–2020: Under Nineteen and 1THE9
On October 25, 2018, Lee Seung Hwan was introduced as a contestant of Under Nineteen. He was a part of the performance team. He finished in eighth place during the finale, allowing him to become a member of the project group 1THE9.
On April 13, 2019, the group officially debuted with the mini album XIX. 1THE9 officially disbanded on August 8, 2020, following the release of their final mini album Good Bye 1THE9.
2020: Departure from PlayM BOYS
On November 16, Play M announced that he and his 1THE9 band mate, Jung Jin Sung had departed from PlayM BOYS and the agency after their exclusive contracts ended.
2021–present: LOUD, dancing endeavors, and Boys Planet
On May 20, he was revealed as a contestant for SBS's audition show LOUD. Unfortunately, he was eliminated during the first round and was unable to move on.
In 2022, Seung Hwan was seen as a backup dancer for ONEUS's US tour 2022 ONEUS Tour "Blood Moon".
On December 29, he was then officially introduced as a contestant for Boys Planet. The first episode would then go on to premiere on February 2, 2023.
